Customer review: “I was trying to find a new local pub having just moved to the area. After attempting most pubs on the High Road The Pied Bull is my favourite hands down and closest to what I was looking for a traditional English Town Pub. Family eating area one side and pub/old mans bar the other, it suits whatever mood you are in. And on top of that there is the best sports bar at the back with game machines and 3 pool tables. 
The layout is fantastic, the food is great pub food at good price, the staff are friendly, good choice beers and ales on tap and the decor is an open traditional pub even has a real fire (or two? – I can’t quite remember).

Don’t be intimidated by the outside. It’s worth going in.”
